Job description

Outpatient Corrections - Primary and Acute Care - ADULT patients ONLY
Start Date: ASAP - 3 month minimum commitment (3, 6 and 12 month contract options)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8a-5p OR Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts
- Travel and Lodging available
- Malpractice insurance w/ tail covered


DESCRIPTION:
- Outpatient Care clinic in an inpatient prison
- 18-20 patients per day (could be as high as 20-25; you will know your schedule everyday)
- Corrections EMR system (HERO) : Most locations have paper charting at this time
- Adult Population (gender depends on the facility)
- American Heart ACLS and BLS Certifications are Required
- Some Urgent Care possible
- Most patients will be seen for Acute and Chronic Care: Diabetes, Hypertension, Arthritis, sickness, etc.
- Typical Procedures: Suturing, Dermabond, Skin biopsies, Acute Care
