Primary Care Physician needed for full-time coverage in central Virginia

Job description

**30 miles south of Richmond, VA**

Federal Corrections Center in Petersburg, Virginia is needing a physician!! They are open to a General Practitioner or anyone Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

***ANY STATE LICENSE IS ACCEPTED***

Looking for someone to start ASAP until the end of the year (DEC 31, 2022) with the option to extend into 2023. *minimum commitment is 6 months*

Roughly 3 weeks to get credentialed

M-F 8 hour shifts (typically 9-5 or 8-4) possible flexibility with shift times

Seeing roughly 12-16 patients/day- all adults

Primary Care cases, sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage like hypertension/diabetes, light trauma cases such as suturing
