Orthopedic Surgeon Baton Rouge, LA
We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon in Baton Rouge, LA. The incoming candidate would ideally be a spine surgeon or general surgeon who is experienced and forward thinking, who is interested in taking over an existing practice in the Baton Rouge area. This is a turnkey practice, with an established staff including 2 physician assistants and experienced administrative staff and a large patient base. There is no trauma call or weekend coverage.

Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Performing routine examinations specific to orthopedic function and musculoskeletal disease
• Performing in-house procedures (injections and minor procedures/surgeries)
• Knee and shoulder specialty preferred
• Creating and managing patient treatment plans
• Observing patient outcomes--recommending changes to the treatment plan as necessary
• Documenting all aspects of the patient experience via EMR
• Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout all aspects of treatment
• Adherence to medical state medical board guidelines, laws and restrictions
• Collaboration and supervision of the PA’s
Salary (range):
• $300k – $400k +
