Job description

URGENT NEED for a Primary Care / Family Medicine Residency Core Faculty Physician​. The physician is responsible for providing direct medical services to patients of all age groups at the clinics of the Health Center as well as a Core supervisory and teaching role for the Family Medicine Residency. The Primary Care Physician functions under the direction and supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and reports to the CMO. The Family Medicine Residency Core Faculty position functions under the Family Medicine Residency Program Director (in conjunction with the Health Center CMO). The position is set up to have 40% Health Center primary care responsibilities, and 60% protected time (as per ACGME guidelines) for administration/academia/precepting (30% precepting residents and medical students in clinic, and 30% administrative and academic time for presentations, advisor meeting time, teaching and evaluations). Adjustments maybe made as appropriate.

Candidates need to be BE/BC (with the expectency of being BC if BE) and licensed in CA. It is a full time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits.
