Primary Care Locum Tenens Internal Medicine/Family Practice
Upper East Side Primary Care/ Internal Medicine Office Practice seeking experienced Primary Care for temporary assignment July 15th thru August 14th.

Established Primary Care medical office is looking for a professional Primary Care Physician who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients. The Primary Care Physician will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. The successful candidate will work as a team with our medical assistants and will assist in delivering premium care to our patient group.

Recent Medical Office Practice preferred. Experience with pre-surgical testing a plus. Busy primary care practitioner with private practice in Manhattan. Convenient to public transportation. New Q 2nd Ave Subway direct from Penn Station or 6 Line on Lexington Ave.

Responsibilities include:

Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations

Prepare and update patient records through our EHR system

Treat patients for internal medicine ailments and order blood work, and diagnostic tests

Establish rapport with patients and families.

Provide advice on healthy practices for patients based on their current health status

Prescribe and refill medications as needed

Provide referrals to specialists when required

Perform physical examinations

Create treatment plans

Skills include:

New York State Medical License

Ability to work within a team and take direction

Must be familiar with the EHR medical charting system

Athena EHR experience a plus.

Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Salary: $25,000.00 per assignment
