Job Title: Locum Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics
Location: Eureka, CA
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient care for pediatric and adult patients
Manage chronic pain cases as part of the patient care plan
Close patient charts within 72 hours of patient encounter
Maintain a minimum of 18 patients seen per day (PPD)
Follow a Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule
Ensure a mix of pediatric and adult patient care
Requirements for Credentialing:
2022-2023 Flu Vaccine
TB Status/X-Ray Results (within 90 days before start date)
Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series
Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series
Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series
Tdap Immunization (within the last 10 years)
COVID requirement: Primary series plus booster, regardless of the date received OR 1 dose of the current COVID vaccine (2023/2024 formulation)
Qualifications:
Active state medical license in California
Proficiency in Epic EMR system
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
