Job description

Location: Located 60 miles northeast of Traverse City, Michigan! Facility: More than 70 doctors and advanced practice professionals who provide primary and specialty care Opportunity: 6:45a-3:15p (with .5 lunch 8hr total) and 6:45a-5:15p (with .5 lunch 10hr total) Call Preferred - 6 call shifts/month - Weekend call is Fri (3p or 7p) to Mon (7a). Mon-Thur call is 7a-7a. Call at OMH is Beeper call. If it is a weekday the provider on call will be covering a room during the day. M-F The ORs operate from 7am - 5 pm with the first cases starting at 0730. They run 2 rooms til 5 pm and 3 rooms until 3 pm during the week. There is only one call team available after 5 pm on the weekdays, holidays and weekends. Documentation System/EMR: Meditech Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: TBD, call coverage only Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 4 Number of Operating Rooms: 5 OR's 2 procedure rooms Procedures Required: General Surgical Cases ADULT, Minor Nerve Blocks, IV Regional anesthesia Procedures Required (cont.): Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Obstetrical Cases Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
