Location: Santa Cruz is a city on central California’s coast. Its long wharf, with eateries and shops, stretches into Monterey Bay. Facility: Not-for-profit organization providing award-winning, patient-centered health care in a variety of areas, including primary and specialty care, diagnostic imaging, vision, occupational health, urgent care, and behavioral health. Opportunity: ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Frequency: Monday – Friday, every week- no callSetting: Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal. FTE: 1.0Duties: Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male/female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, chf, etc EMR: CernerPatients per Day: Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic Reason for Coverage: Provider Retiring Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
