Ongoing Physician Assistant Need in MA - Travel Paid

Location: Worcester, MA. Less than an hour from Boston, MA and Providence, RI. Facility: This central Massachusetts hospital offers a full range of primary and specialty care in one of the largest cities in New England. Opportunity: Physician Assistant needed for ongoing cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery coverage * January 1, 2023 - Ongoing * Provider will likely work 1-24 hour shift and 1-2 12 hour shifts per week, could be day or night shifts. In the hospital that full 24 hour shift, there is a call room where they can rest. * Staff information: 1 Surgeon, 5 APP * 3-5 surgeries per week * Slower paced practice * Cases include: CABG TAVR, Robotic Thoracic cases too, no Vascular. OK if they can't do the Robotic cases, they will cover it. * Outpatient: 2 patients per day * Required procedures/skills: EVH, Maquet, Hemopro 1 * Advanced procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, vent mgmt, Note what they do in the present * Provider will do surgery, rounding and clinic work * EMR: Meditech * Active MA, DEA, Controlled Substance Permit Required Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid travel and lodging available.
