Primary Care Physician needed in MA!

Job description

Start Date: ASAP (as soon as credentialed- takes at least 90 days)
Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Shift Details: 30-40 hours per week. 40 is preferred, but can take someone who wants a little less
Schedule: on site, no call
Work Details:
· Patients per day: 20-22 for MD’s and 16-18 ppd for APP. Most appts are 20 minutes.
-Each clinical session is 4 hours each, for a total of 32 hours of patient-facing a week. Additionally, they get two administrative sessions (8 hours total) each week. Administrative sessions can be completed remotely. Many Doctors work 4-days on site and 1 day from home.
-The day is split into clinical sessions:
o AM Session: 8am-12noon
o PM Session: 12noon-1pm
o Evening Session: 5pm-7pm (only on Tues and Thurs)
-Department Description: Bread and butter primary care
-Practice Setting: Must see all ages – pretty even mix of Peds, Adults, -Adolescent and Geriatrics. Very diverse patient load, but they do have Spanish and Portuguese translators on site. EMR is NextGen
-Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required. Must be BC or truly BE. Will look at new grads if they are MD. APP’s must have experience
· License Required: Must have active MA license
· Certifications Required: DEA, CSR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, MCSR
· Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days (no exceptions)
-Interviews: They will have an initial interview with our contact and if that goes well they will have a 2nd interview with the Med. Director via FaceTime. If they are local they can come tour the facility
