Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner Needed in Texas
Start Date: November 2024 or as soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months with option for extension
Schedule: 8 hour shifts
No weekends or on-call
closed for major holidays
Primary Care: Deliver comprehensive healthcare to factory employees, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, performing physical exams, and promoting overall well-being.
Urgent Care: Provide prompt care for on-site medical emergencies, accidents, and injuries.
Interdisciplinary Care: Coordinate with off-site providers and specialists for referrals and continuity of care.
Prescribing Medications: Prescribe appropriate medications following guidelines, monitor their use, and educate patients on proper usage.
Record-keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, documenting medical histories, treatments, and prescriptions per legal and ethical standards.

Credentialing Timeframe: 1-2 weeks. Quick/low maintenance credentialing process
