Trauma Surgery APP Needed in KY

Job description

Location: Lexington, KY

Start: January

13-week assignment with the option to extend

Schedule: Looking for night shift coverage every night, 12 hours, 6p-6:30a

Call: no call

Responsibilities:
For nights, specifically: no rounding, update problem lists on all new patients, “put out fires” at night, work with the ICU, 60 patients possible at night but don’t have to do primary care, night shift is more low-key than days

Patient Population:
Trauma, acute and progressive, age 16 and up

Requirements:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Certification or enrollment in Post Master’s ACNP program within one year of hire or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
At least 1 year trauma experience
Level 1 trauma experience highly preferred

**NEED to be able to complete credentialing requirements ASAP. Credentialing items are due to facility on 11/5***
