Job Description
NDS Wellness consists of board-certified physicians and a qualified staff that have more than twenty-five years of experience in testing, screening and allied medical services. We provide the highest level of diagnostic testing that offers convenience, and the reliability physicians require for their patients.
***Project lasts from October 2025 to April 2026***
NDS Wellness has an opportunity for a temporary full time Board Certified Physician in the Philadelphia, PA area. Candidates will work with the city of Philadelphia fire fighters to analyze patient's medical history, diagnose potential health conditions, conduct NFPA 1582 Physicals, and recommend firefighters for duty in our 50ft mobile health clinics. The position consists of conducting physicals for 6-12 patients daily 8 hours a day (Monday-Friday), 40 hours per week for 1-6 months (October 2025 to April 2026).
Willing to work around a candidate's schedule. (2-3 days at the site a week).

Duties:
- Conduct physical examinations and diagnose and treat common illnesses and chronic conditions
- Utilize electronic medical records system to document patient encounters and manage patient information
- Provide health coaching and education to patients on disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications.
Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Valid medical license in the state In Pennsylvania (or reciprocal state)
- Experience working with electronic medical records systems, preferably Cerner
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $150.00 - $160.00 per hour
