Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Adult Medicine - Locals Only - Spanish Speaking Highly Preferred - CA license

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide locum services in an outpatient clinic setting in Oakland, CA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an NP looking for consistent coverage starting March 2, 2026.

🏥 Job Details:

Specialty: Adult Medicine – Outpatient Clinic (Spanish Speaking Preferred)
Setting: Primary Care Clinic
Schedule:

4 days per week (Monday–Friday)
Day shifts: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
No call required


Contract Length: 13 weeks (likely option to extend)
Start Date: March 2, 2026 (credentialing required)
Patient Volume: ~20 patients per day (mostly return visits)
Patient Population: Adults 18+
Charting Software: Epic
Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 LVN, and MA support for each provider


✅ Requirements:

Active California NP license (required)
DEA with Schedule II authority (required)
BLS certification
Minimum 2–3 years recent experience in outpatient primary care
At least 1 year experience using Epic
Spanish-speaking skills highly preferred
Experience working with vulnerable populations or safety-net communities strongly preferred


📋 Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: 90–120 days
Completion of facility-specific forms and verifications required
Zoom interview with medical director
