The facility operates as a Rural Health Clinic providing comprehensive primary care services to the local community. The clinic maintains a full complement of support staff including front office personnel, registered nurses, and additional physicians and advanced practice clinicians. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR system for patient care coordination and clinical documentation.

Minnesota offers diverse outdoor recreational opportunities throughout the year with regional attractions and outdoor recreation activities. The region provides excellent opportunities for boating, fishing, biking, and stargazing. Winter activities include seasonal outdoor recreation while other seasons offer outdoor pursuits and exploration of natural areas and parks.

About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive family medicine services for patients of all ages with an average patient age of 55 years. Daily responsibilities include seeing 16 to 18 patients during scheduled clinic hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Optional hospital call coverage is available for Friday inpatient services and weekend emergency department admissions and rounding. Board certification or board eligibility in family medicine is required along with Minnesota medical licensure and DEA registration.
