Several Urgent Care/Primary Care APPs Needed in Portland & Beaverton (Will license)

Job description

📍 Location: Portland & Beaverton, OR
📅 Start Date: August (ASAP available)
⏳ Assignment Length: 26 Weeks (6 months)

### Schedule

* Full-time only (average 34 hours/week)
* Wednesday–Saturday schedule
* Wednesday: Half day (approximately 5 hours)
* Thursday & Friday: 10-hour shifts
* Saturday: 9-hour shift
* Scheduled appointments only—no staying late to work through a waiting room full of patients

### Practice Details

* Outpatient Urgent Care and Primary Care (must be comfortable seeing both)
* Full-time coverage required (part-time schedules not accepted)
* 18–22 patients per day
* Patient population: Pediatrics through Geriatrics
* Support staff includes Medical Assistants and office staff
* Most clinics are solo provider coverage; some locations have double coverage

### Required Skills

* Laceration repair (sutures and wound glue)
* Incision and drainage (abscesses and paronychia)
* Splint application
* Cerumen removal
* Eye exams with fluorescein staining
* Digital blocks
* IM injections and immunizations
* Pap and pelvic exams
* Staple and suture removal
* PPD placement
* Subungual hematoma treatment
* Wart (verruca) treatment

Preferred but not required:

* Facial and nail laceration repair
* Nursemaid's elbow reduction

### Requirements

* Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
* Minimum 2 years of experience
* Active Oregon license preferred; willing to consider licensing candidates
* DEA required
* ACLS preferred
* Eligible to participate in the Medicare program

### Additional Information

* Credentialing: Approximately 30 days with an active Oregon license or 90 days for licensing candidates
