Trauma Surgeon opportunity available in Melbourne, FL
Start Date: 11/6/26
Assignment Length: Ongoing
Schedule: PRN - 8, 16 hour shifts (7a-3p) (3p-7a)
Initial coverage need is for November 6-8, and 10-13, with sporadic ongoing needs.
Additional Details:
• Patient Age Group: Adult
• Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
• Trauma Cases: All trauma cases except Neurosurgery
• Primary Role: Resuscitate/stablize and call specialized surgeons (Cardiac, etc)
• Common Cases: Exploratory laparotomies, emergency thoracotomies, chest wall stabilization, damage control surgery, vascular repair, orthopedic procedures, and severe soft tissue injuries
• Required Experience: Acute Care Surgery experience required; strong acute care experience preferred

Licensure: Active FL license required (assistance available if needed)
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60-90 days
