Full-time, employed position

Hybrid schedule with required on-site patient visits at least monthly

Monday through Friday, 8-hour workdays

No weekends

The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership for the primary care service line while overseeing quality of care, regulatory compliance, and program development initiatives. As a key member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Medical Director will support strategic planning, program growth, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities-
Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the primary care program

Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and other clinical staff

Develop and support clinical policies, protocols, and best practices
-
Monitor quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes
-
Assist with program development and organizational growth

Participate in leadership and administrative activities
-
Collaborate with behavioral health and other multidisciplinary teams
-
Promote patient-centered, evidence-based care
-
Support compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and organizational standards

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

Active or eligible for New York medical licensure
-
Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
-
Minimum of five years of primary care or family medicine experience preferred

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Experience working in an outpatient primary care setting

Proficiency with electronic health records and standard office software

Successful completion of background check and Medicaid exclusion screening
