Position Overview & Clinical Scope
A patient-centered health network in Western Michigan is seeking a Full-Time Family Medicine Physician to join an established primary care practice. This role offers the opportunity to practice full-spectrum family medicine in a close-knit community setting while maintaining access to large health system resources.
Practice Setting & Clinical Details
Multidisciplinary Team: Practice alongside 2 Physicians, 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), 2 Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs), a Clinical Pharmacist (PharmD), a Care Manager, and 21 dedicated clinical support staff.
Academic & Teaching Opportunities: Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
Daily Workflow: Provide direct outpatient primary care, collaborate with interdisciplinary staff, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and complete clinical documentation using Epic EMR.
Call Requirements: Shared outpatient call pool rotated across regional offices (Whitehall, Shelby, Hart, and Ludington). Physicians average approximately 8 call weeks per year, depending on total pool volume.
Candidate Submission & Qualification Requirements
Licensure & Board Certification:
Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Family Medicine [REQUIRED; BE candidates must achieve board certification within 2 years of eligibility].
State Licensure: Active Michigan Medical License or willingness to obtain [REQUIRED].
Federal Credentials: Active DEA Registration or willingness to obtain [REQUIRED].
Life Support Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications or willingness to obtain [REQUIRED].
Visa Screening: Candidate visa status (J-1 or H-1B requirement) must be specified at time of submission [REQUIRED].
Malpractice History: Clean malpractice background [PREFERRED].
Experience Level: Open to both experienced physicians and New Graduates.

Agency/provider is responsible for credentialing fees (no network reimbursement for credentialing costs).
