PERMANENT NURSE PRACTITIONER – PRIMARY CARE needed in Brattleboro, Vermont

FTE: 1.0 / 40 Hours per Week
Weekend Coverage: None
On-Call: 1:11 Call Rotation
Salary: $120,000–$140,000 Annually

POSITION DETAILS

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services

Independently perform medical acts within APRN licensure standards

Provide care to individuals, families, and groups

Focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and overall wellness

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Provide patient and family education

Identify and address specialized teaching and learning needs

Support daily practice operations and maintain a safe clinical environment

Participate in professional development and continuing education

Work within a multidisciplinary medical group with multiple specialties

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program

Current Vermont APRN license or ability to obtain

Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP certification from a national organization recognized by the Vermont Board of Nursing preferred

Healthcare Provider CPR certification

DEA license

Qualified for credentialing by the Medical Staff

Two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree highly preferred

Clean malpractice history

Current NPDB Self-Query Report issued within 30 days required at presentation

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Must live within a reasonable commuting distance; candidates commuting more than 1 hour will not be considered

Visa candidates will not be considered

Locum or Locum-to-Permanent candidates will not be considered

Position cannot be combined with another job

Candidates with less than 1 year of professional experience will not be considered

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual salary: $120,000–$140,000

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Exempt position

1:11 call rotation
