Position Overview & Clinical Scope
An established outpatient primary care clinic in southern Vermont is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary medical group, the APRN will deliver independent patient care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, patient education, and chronic disease management.
Practice Setting & Clinical Responsibilities
Care Model: Deliver comprehensive primary care services to individuals and families, collaborating with physicians, APRNs/PAs, LPNs, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
System Integration: Practice within a broad medical network offering seamless access to specialties including Family Practice, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Urology, Post-Acute Care, and General Surgery.
Clinical Duties: Perform independent clinical evaluations, manage diagnostic/treatment plans, deliver patient/family health education, and maintain an efficient, patient-centered care environment.
Candidate Submission & Qualification Requirements
Licensure, Certification & Education:
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner program [REQUIRED].
State Licensure: Active Vermont APRN License (or willingness to obtain) [REQUIRED].
National Certification: Board certification as an Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP by a recognized national credentialing body [HIGHLY PREFERRED].
Federal Credentials: Active DEA Registration [REQUIRED].
Life Support: Active Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification [REQUIRED].
Experience & Background Requirements:
Advanced Practice Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure APRN experience [REQUIRED; new graduates with <1 year NP experience NOT accepted].
Prior Nursing Background: Two (2) years of RN clinical experience prior to earning advanced degree [HIGHLY PREFERRED].
Malpractice History: Clean malpractice history [REQUIRED].
Documentation at Presentation: Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report generated within the past 30 days [REQUIRED AT PRESENTATION; NO EXCEPTIONS].
Candidate Eligibility Rules & Constraints:
Commute Radius: Candidates commuting more than 1 hour are NOT accepted.
Visa Candidates: Visa support is NOT available.
Employment Structure: Candidates seeking Locum or Locum-to-Perm are NOT accepted.
Exclusivity: Candidate must intend to work this role as their sole position (concurrent employment is NOT permitted).

Compensation & Permanent Benefits Package
Annual Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 annually (commensurate with experience, education, and market competitiveness).
Placement Fee Structure: Standard $18,000 permanent placement agency fee.
Environment: Multidisciplinary group practice in an ADA-compliant workplace.
