Correctional Opportunity at 15 sites in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana

Job description

We have a need for 2 GP/FP/IM’s to work at any one of the 15 facilities in the South Central region (TX, LA, OK, AR). This is a unique position because upon acceptance, the provider will be able to work at the closest BOP facility. 15 facilities throughout Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

2 GP/FP/IM (no residency required but must have a clean background)
• Any state license
• M-F 7:30a-4p
• Dec 10-Nov 31 2019 + options to extend
• No weekends or on call requirements
• Full medical staff
• EMR proficient
• Must be comfortable with light trauma cases such as: suture, splinting, drainage and removal
• Provide primary care to all patients: sick and wellness visits for younger population. Chronic care to older population: diabetes, hypertension etc.
• Will be a mix of teledoc and direct patient care. Schedule will be determined by Bureau of Prison (BOP) facility.
