Job description

Position Details:

Start Date: September 3, 2024 (or sooner depending on credentialing timeframe)
Contract Length: 6 months
Shift Details: 10 or 12-hour shifts, Monday – Friday
Schedule:

40 hours per week required
Shift incentives available for 12-hour shifts
Schedule created 8 weeks in advance
Opportunity to pick up weekend shifts when short-staffed
No call required
Full-time availability of 40 hours per week, every week is required
No flexible scheduling; part-time candidates not accepted
Compensation:

Bill Rate: $275/hr (all-inclusive)
Weekly Expense Allowance for Travel: $1,000 (out-of-state providers only)
Overtime Rate: $285/hr
Overtime Rule: Applies after 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Epic
Worksites: Bridgeport Hospital and New Haven Hospital – must be comfortable floating between both sites
Case/Procedure Experience: Central lines, arterial lines, intubation, extubation, endoscopy, gastroenterology, and spinal taps (often administered by physicians). Must have experience with high-acuity patients.
Facility: Large, growing health system; Level I trauma center; hospital setting

Board Certification: Required
License: CT License required (non-licensed candidates will be accepted)
