Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locums opportunity in Monticello, Kentucky! This position offers full-time day shifts, a rotating call schedule, and a long-term assignment at a critical access hospital.

Opportunity Highlights:

Full-time coverage

12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Rotating call coverage required

Weekday and weekend coverage opportunities

Approximately 6-month assignment

Critical access hospital setting

Collaborative surgical and anesthesia team

Willing to consider candidates needing Kentucky licensure

Coverage anticipated as soon as credentialed

Clinical Responsibilities:

Perform preoperative anesthesia evaluations

Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans

Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures

Perform airway management, including video laryngoscopy

Monitor patients and adjust anesthesia throughout procedures

Collaborate with surgeons and operating room staff

Provide postoperative anesthesia care and patient education

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program

Active Kentucky RN and APRN-CRNA licenses, or willingness to obtain appropriate licensure

BLS certification required

ACLS required within 30 days of hire

PALS required within 90 days of hire

Two years of CRNA experience preferred

Comfortable with independent clinical responsibilities and rotating call coverage
