# Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens Opportunity

## 🏥 JOB OVERVIEW

A collaborative hospital-based anesthesia team is seeking a qualified **Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)** for a 6-month locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a diverse case mix across the Main Operating Room and Endoscopy services in a supportive clinical environment.

The CRNA will practice under supervision and work alongside an experienced, collaborative surgical and anesthesia team.

## 🩺 CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The CRNA will provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases, including:

* Adult general surgical cases
* Pediatric general surgical cases
* IV regional anesthesia
* Spinal anesthesia
* Epidural anesthesia
* Regional anesthesia
* Obstetrical cases
* Neurosurgical cases
* Endoscopy procedures

## 📊 CASE VOLUME

* **Main OR:** Approximately 3–5 surgical cases per day
* **Endoscopy:** Approximately 12–15 cases per day

## 🏥 PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT

* Hospital-based practice
* Main Operating Room and Endoscopy
* 9 Main Operating Rooms
* 5 Endoscopy suites
* Collaborative OR and anesthesia staff
* Level III Trauma designation
* Physician-supervised CRNA practice model

## 💰 COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

* 8-hour shifts
* **Up to $240 per hour, including malpractice coverage**
* 8 hours guaranteed per scheduled workday
* Overtime may apply after 10 hours worked
* Holiday pay may be Sign up or sign in for contact information× the regular rate
* Guaranteed weekly hours may vary during holiday weeks

## ✈️ TRAVEL & HOUSING

Travel expenses are reimbursed in accordance with assignment policy, including:

* Flight
* Hotel/lodging
* Rental car

## ⏱️ CREDENTIALING

* Estimated credentialing timeframe: **Approximately 90 days**

## ✅ QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

* **Current CRNA certification and Board Certification – Required**
* **ACLS certification – Required**
* **BLS certification – Required**
* Active state license or willingness to obtain appropriate licensure – Required
* A minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience is highly preferred; qualified new graduates may be considered
* **Current NPDB Self-Query Report – Required**

* Report must be obtained within the same month as the candidate submission
