Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locums opportunity in Brockton, Massachusetts! This position offers multiple weekday shift options, a diverse surgical case mix, and opportunities for 24-hour in-house OB coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

Weekday OR shifts available:

8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

24-hour in-house OB shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM, weekdays and weekends

OB is the only call coverage

Approximately 13-week assignment

Anesthesiologist supervision model

CRNAs perform labor epidurals with physician backup available

260-bed acute care hospital

6 operating rooms and 8 anesthetizing locations

Meditech EMR

Approximately 30–90 day credentialing timeframe

Temporary privileges may be available for candidates with clean files

Case Mix:

Bariatric surgery

ENT

Gynecology

Interventional radiology

Orthopedics and total joints

Plastic surgery

Podiatry

Spine

Thoracic surgery

Urology

Vascular surgery

Obstetric anesthesia and labor epidurals

Requirements:

NBCRNA certification required

Active Massachusetts CRNA license required

Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR) required

DEA registration required

Meditech experience required

Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility

Comfortable practicing in an anesthesiologist supervision model

OB experience required for OB coverage assignments
