Position Highlights:
•Location: Cottonwood, AZ
•Start Date: September 14, 2026
•Contract Length: September–December 2026, with coverage through December 31
•Shift Details: Schedule: 6:45 am-3 pm (night call is 3 pm- 6:45 am)
-September 14–18: Night call on September 14 and 16
-September 21–25: Night call on September 21; September 22 required as post-call day off
-September 28–October 2: Night call on September 29
-October 5–9: Night call on October 6 and 9
-October 10–11: 24-hour call
-October 19–23: Night call on October 21
-November 2–6: Night call on November 2 and 4
-December 7–11: Night call on December 7 and 9
-December 18: Single-day coverage
-December 21–24: Night call on December 21 and 24; December 22 required as post-call day off
-December 28–31: Night call on December 28 and 31

Work Details:
•Support Staff: CRNAs and nurses; the locum anesthesiologist will always have CRNA support
•Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Open weeks and dates listed above
•Patients per Day: 4–8
•Patient Population/Age: All ages
•EMR: Cerner
•Hospital Bed Size: 87 beds
•Special Procedures: OB anesthesia; endoscopy under propofol infusion
•Skills Required: Current OB anesthesia experience is required. The physician must have the energy and ability to cover OB, the OR, and endoscopy during nights and weekends. CRNA support is always available.
•Practice Setting: Hospital

Requirements:
•Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
•License Required: Arizona license or IMLC
•DEA: Required
•Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
•Minimum Experience Required: Current OB anesthesia experience required

•Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks
