This hospital maintains an organized operating room program with established perioperative workflows designed to support quality anesthesia care delivery across multiple surgical specialties. The facility operates within a structured on-site clinical environment and is currently processing a backlog of surgical cases, necessitating additional anesthesiologist coverage including weekend availability. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought on an ASAP basis through September 2027 to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model with 100% hands-on MD involvement during day shifts, night shifts, and call at an operating room facility. Shift options include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour configurations, with weekend coverage required as the facility addresses a surgical case backlog. The case mix is high-volume and diverse, serving patients across all age groups. Board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
