Locum Anesthesiologist – Burlingame, CA

🗓️ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule & Coverage
• 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Full-time coverage preferred
• Minimum commitment of 2 weeks per month
• No call requirement
• Ongoing coverage for 26+ weeks
Clinical Details
• Hospital OR coverage
• Primarily general anesthesia cases
• Occasional regional anesthesia cases
• Patient population: Adults and adolescents age 13+
• Provider will predominantly work independently in the OR
• May occasionally oversee CRNAs
• Regional anesthesia skills strongly preferred, but not required
• Trauma experience strongly preferred
• Recent experience at a tertiary care center required
• Medical center experience preferred
Support
• CRNA support available
Requirements
• Board Certification required
o Truly Board Eligible candidates may be considered, particularly if fellowship trained
• California medical license required
• California DEA with Schedule 2/2N required
• AHA BLS and ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Anesthesiology experience
• Recent tertiary-care experience required
Credentialing
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
