Locum Anesthesiologist needed to start ASAP near Waterford, CT

Job description

- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7a-3:30p with a 30-minute lunch
- Department Description: Case mix includes ambulatory, plastics, orthopedics, general surgery, GYN, urology, neurosurgery, vascular, endoscopy, and healthy pediatrics. 10 ORs, 308-bed facility, Level 4 NICU. Responsibilities include completing thorough anesthesia apparatus safety checks, monitoring equipment, pre-anesthetic assessments, obtaining/verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options/risks with patients, induction, maintenance, emergence from anesthesia, and monitoring the patient’s physiological condition
- Patients per day: 20-25
- Skills Required: Must be comfortable with Adults and PEDS
- Support Staff: RN, MDs, and other Medical Assistants
- Mixture of Supervision/not supervised
- Minimum Experience Required: 2+ years
- License Required: Will consider licensure
- DEA: Yes
- EMR: Epic (If you have EPIC experience, you can opt out of 1-day orientation)
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days, or 120 days without a license
