Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locums assignment in Jacksonville, FL. This role supports a growing dental surgical program providing general IV anesthesia for moderate sedation—not full general anesthesia.

This assignment offers consistent weekday hours, no call, no nights, and no weekends, with a long-term schedule extending well into 2026.

Practice Details

Setting: Ambulatory dental surgical center

Cases:

Dual full-arch cases (AM)

Single arch or implant cases (PM)

1–3 cases per day

Patient Population: Adults ages 50–70 (no pediatrics)

Support Team: 1 supervising physician + 2 assistants

EMR: Eaglesoft (very simple, no training required)

Environment: 2 procedure rooms in use; expanding to 4

Schedule

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

No call, no weekends, no holidays

Ongoing need for 3–5 days per week into 2026

Consistent monthly volume expected

Requirements

Board Certified Anesthesiologist

Active Florida medical license (required)

BLS & ACLS

Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience

Proficiency with IV anesthesia for moderate sedation
