Anesthesiology Locums – Florida Metro Area | Full-Time Coverage + Diverse Cases

Job description

Assignment Details:
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Duration: 3–6 months with potential to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday with 7:00 AM start times
Coverage: Full-time (must be available all weeks of the month)
Call: Required (weekday beeper + weekend in-house and beeper rotation)

Practice Setting:
High-volume surgical environment (800–900 cases/month)
Multiple ORs including dedicated OB rooms
Care team model with physician supervision and independent cases

Case Mix Includes:
General Surgery
Orthopedics
OB/GYN
Neuro & Spine
Thoracic

Required Skills & Procedures:
OB anesthesia
Regional blocks (TAP, Supraclavicular, Adductor Canal, Popliteal)

Requirements:
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active (or in-process) Florida license
ACLS & BLS certifications
Clean background (no malpractice or pending cases)
Ability to provide recent case logs
Willingness to commit to full-time schedule

Additional Details:
Credentialing: ~90 days (temporary privileges possible sooner with clean file)
EMR: Epic
Travel and lodging provided per policy
