Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for a locums opportunity in Macon, Georgia! This position offers consistent weekday hours, flexible monthly commitments, and fully covered travel expenses.

Opportunity Highlights:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

40-hour workweeks

One weekday night of call during each working week

Minimum commitment of just 1 week per month

Long-term coverage opportunity with flexible assignment length

General, cardiovascular, and OB anesthesia

Combination of independent cases and team-based anesthesia

CRNA and Anesthesiologist Assistant support

Adult patient population

Epic EMR

Hospital setting with coverage across two locations

Flights, lodging, rental car, or mileage covered

Approximately 120-day credentialing timeframe

Case Mix:

General anesthesia

Cardiovascular anesthesia

Obstetric anesthesia

Personally performed anesthesia cases

Collaborative anesthesia care with CRNAs and AAs

Requirements:

Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Active Georgia medical license preferred; IMLC-qualified candidates may be considered for licensing

BLS certification required

DEA registration required

Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; 1 year may be considered with strong experience

Epic experience required

Must be comfortable providing CV, OB, and general anesthesia

Ability to perform cases independently

Minimum availability of 1 week per month
