Anesthesiologist – Indiana | Ongoing Weeks + IMLC Accepted

Job description

Anesthesiologist coverage needed in Angola, Indiana with multiple weeks available
Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM with an 8-hour guarantee
Weeknight call from 3 PM–7 AM when working a full week
30-minute call response time
Independent practice model – MDs and CRNAs practice with the same autonomy
Daily staffing consists of 1 MD and 2 CRNAs
3 anesthetizing sites per day, including OB
3 ORs and 2 Endoscopy rooms
Approximately 2,800 cases annually
Large volume of General Surgery, Endoscopy and Orthopedics
Additional cases include OB, GYN, ENT, Ophthalmology and Podiatry
Approximately 250–275 deliveries annually
VBACs performed; no high-risk OB
C-sections performed in the main OR
Must be proficient with regional blocks, spinals and epidurals
EPIC EMR
Board Certification required – Board Eligible candidates cannot be considered
ACLS through AHA, PALS and BLS required
250 facility-reported case logs from the previous year required
IMLC candidates accepted for Indiana licensure
Credentialing approximately 60–90 days
Temporary privileges may be available for candidates with clean backgrounds, malpractice history and an active unrestricted license

Coverage dates include Nov. 23; Dec. 21 and 28–31; Jan. 4; Feb. 2 and 15; Mar. 1, 22 and 29; and Apr. 5, 12 and 26.
