We are seeking Cardiac Anesthesiologists for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a large acute-care hospital in Louisville, KY. This position offers flexible shift lengths, a broad case mix, and the option for additional call coverage.

Position Highlights

Shift Options: 10, 12, or 14-hour shifts

519-bed acute care hospital
41 operating rooms
EPIC EMR
Mix of hands-on anesthesia and CRNA supervision
Physicians are approximately 75% hands-on / 25% supervision

Current need requires physicians with cardiovascular (CV) anesthesia experience.

Call
Main OR call is in-house
Cardiac call is remote
Weekday and weekend call opportunities
Weekend structure is similar, with the Main OR physician in-house and Cardiac physician covering remotely
Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Cardiac/CV anesthesia experience required
Minimum 3 years of experience; 5+ years preferred
Kentucky license required; licensing assistance is available
Provider's home address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

This is an excellent opportunity for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist looking for a longer-term locums assignment with flexible scheduling and the ability to work as little as two weeks per month.
