Schedule & Coverage
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month
• Client is seeking consistent, reliable ongoing coverage
• No call requirement
Clinical Details
• Independent practice — no supervision
• Locum will be assigned to either the OR or Endoscopy
• Patient population includes adults and healthy pediatric patients
• Case mix includes:
o General surgery
o Plastics
o Orthopedics
o Urology
o Gynecology
o Endoscopy
o Healthy pediatric cases
• Regional anesthesia experience strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable performing a variety of regional blocks, including pediatric blocks
• Endoscopy providers should be comfortable managing approximately 16–20 cases per day
Requirements
• Board Certification required
• Massachusetts medical license required
• BLS and ACLS required
• ABA certification or eligibility required
• Massachusetts DEA required
• Strong regional anesthesia and block skills preferred
