Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locums opportunity in Brockton, Massachusetts. This position offers weekday scheduling, a primarily CRNA supervision model, and a diverse surgical case mix.

Opportunity Highlights:

Monday–Friday schedule

8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

In-house call required

Weeknight call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

Weekend call: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Primarily CRNA supervision with approximately 20% personally performed anesthesia

2 anesthesiologists and 6 CRNAs in the staffing model

260-bed acute care hospital

6 operating rooms and 8 anesthetizing locations

Meditech EMR

Approximately 30–90 day credentialing timeframe

Temporary privileges may be available with a clean file

Case Mix:

Bariatric surgery

ENT

Gynecology

Interventional radiology

Orthopedics and total joints

Plastic surgery

Podiatry

Spine

Thoracic

Urology

Vascular

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Active Massachusetts medical license required

Meditech experience required

Comfortable supervising CRNAs and independently performing anesthesia cases

Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility

Available for in-house call coverage
