Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locums opportunity in Northampton, Massachusetts! This position offers consistent weekday hours, no call, and an independent practice model with a diverse case mix.

Opportunity Highlights:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

No call required

Minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month

Long-term coverage with flexible assignment length

Independent practice model with no supervision responsibilities

Assigned to operating room or endoscopy coverage

Adult and healthy pediatric patients

Epic EMR

Approximately 90-day credentialing timeframe

Case Mix:

General surgery

Plastic surgery

Orthopedics

Urology

Gynecology

Endoscopy

Healthy pediatric cases

Regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks

Endoscopy assignments may involve approximately 16–20 cases per day

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Active Massachusetts medical license required

Massachusetts DEA registration required

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of experience

Comfortable practicing independently

Regional anesthesia skills strongly preferred

Ability to perform a variety of peripheral nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks

Availability for at least 3 weeks per month
