Anesthesiologist Locums Opportunity – North Carolina

Job description

Assignment Details:
Start Date: June 2026
Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (rotating schedule)
Shift: 7:00 AM start
Call: Nightly call from 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Light callback volume

Practice Setting:
Community hospital setting
4–6 ORs running daily
~4,900 cases annually

Case Mix:
General anesthesia
Orthopedics
GI
GYN
No trauma or OB

Responsibilities:
Supervision of CRNAs (majority of cases)
Some independent cases
Pre-op, PACU coverage, blocks, and OR board management

Anesthesia Model:
~85% supervision / 15% own cases
Typically 1 MD with 4–5 CRNAs

Requirements:
Board Certified Anesthesiologist
Active North Carolina license
Clean background required
