Anesthesiologist Needed for Ongoing Coverage in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania

A hospital in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage starting in May. This opportunity offers a diverse case mix and a collaborative care model in a patient-centered environment.

Assignment Details:

Start Date: May 10
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 5x10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Call: 16-hour call shifts; must be able to take weekday call from 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM as needed
Coverage Needed: 3–4 FTEs

Hospital-based setting

Care team model with a 1:3 anesthesiologist-to-CRNA ratio
Providers deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple surgical areas

Case Mix Includes:

Vascular
OB/GYN
General Surgery
GI
Pediatrics

Robotics
Urology

Clinical Details:

Patient population: All ages
EMR: Epic

Required Skills:

MAC
Regional anesthesia
Spinal anesthesia
Ultrasound-guided techniques

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Active Pennsylvania license required
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
