Contract Length: 1-2 months, ongoing

Shift Details: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Weekend and weeknight call are optional.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our team on a locum tenens basis. The successful candidate will work alongside four other anesthesiologists in an MD-only model to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide anesthesia services for a majority of general, orthopedic, and GI cases, with some neuro and podiatry cases.
Manage a daily patient load of 10-20 adult patients.
Collaborate with a team of four other MDs to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Utilize the Medaxion EMR system for patient records and documentation.
Support Staff: Four other MDs (MD-only model)

Coverage Requirements: 7-14 days per month

Patient Demographics: Primarily adult patients

Practice Setting: Hospital

Travel Logistics: Travel and lodging expenses covered by the client.

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required, or scheduled exam date
Licensure: Active Texas medical license (IMLC not accepted)
DEA Certification: Required
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.
