Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for a locums opportunity in Austin, Texas! This position offers weekday day shifts, a diverse case mix, and a $20,000 completion bonus after 13 weeks and 520 hours worked.

Opportunity Highlights:

8- and 10-hour day shifts available

Typical hours starting around 8:00 AM

Weeknight and weekend pager call preferred, not required

Approximately 13-week assignment

$20,000 completion bonus upon meeting the 13-week and 520-hour requirements

Coverage across four hospitals in the Austin area

Combination of personally performed cases and medical direction

CRNA and CAA care team model

Physician-to-CRNA ratio of approximately 1:4

iPro charting system

Temporary privileges may be available

Approximately 30–60 days for accelerated privileging

Case Mix:

General anesthesia

Neurosurgery

Orthopedics

Obstetric anesthesia

Neuraxial and regional anesthesia

Requirements:

Board Certified Anesthesiologist

Active Texas medical license required

Experience with general, neuro, orthopedic, and OB anesthesia

Proficiency in neuraxial and regional anesthesia techniques

Comfortable personally performing cases and medically directing CRNAs/CAAs

Willingness to provide coverage across multiple Austin-area hospital locations
