We are seeking an Anesthesiologist, MD/DO for an ongoing assignment in Newport News, Virginia.

Start Date: July 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10–12 hour shifts; approximately 50 hours per week plus call
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Assignment Details:
• MDs supervise CRNAs in a 1:3 ratio
• Case mix includes OB, ortho, neuro intervention, vascular, trauma, GI, GU, GYN, thoracic, CVIR, MRI, endoscopy, and minimal pediatrics
• 3rd call overnight (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend call required (in-house 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with overnight call coverage)
• Combination of scheduled coverage with optional call
• Occasional overtime available
License: Active Virginia License Required
Requirements:
• Must be Board Certified
• Must be comfortable supervising CRNAs
• Must be comfortable with a broad, high-acuity case mix
Credentialing: Approximately 60–90 days
