We are seeking Board-Certified Anesthesiologists for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a busy acute-care hospital in Newport News, VA. This position offers consistent full-time hours, a diverse case mix, and opportunities for additional call and overtime coverage.

Position Highlights
Location: Newport News, VA
Specialty: Anesthesiology
Schedule: Approximately 50 hours per week + call
Day Shifts: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Night Float: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, in-house
Overtime: Expected
Temporary privileges may be available within 30–60 days
Standard credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days

Anesthesiologists both supervise CRNAs and perform their own cases
Approximately 1:4 MD-to-CRNA ratio
Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active Virginia medical license required
Facility is not accepting candidates who need to obtain a Virginia license
Comfortable with a combination of hands-on cases and CRNA supervision
Availability for scheduled shifts and call coverage
