Schedule & Coverage
• Regular day shifts:
o Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, or
o Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekday and weekend call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• 1st and 2nd call coverage
• Weekend call may be paired with either 1st or 2nd call, along with regular day shifts
• Coverage dates: December 27–31, 2026
Practice Setting
• Community hospital with a mix of:
o Medical direction with CRNAs/CAAs
o Solo anesthesiology cases
• Call coverage is solo MD/DO
• Hospital and surgery center coverage
• Anesthesia tech support available during the week
Patient Population
• Adults
• Healthy pediatric patients
Case Mix
General locum coverage may include:
• General surgery
• GYN
• OB
• Vascular
• Urology
• Neuro/Spine
• Orthopedics
• Healthy pediatric ENT/Dental
• EP
• GI
Cardiac: The facility performs open-heart cases and TAVRs; however, general locum weeks and call coverage do not include cardiac cases.
Requirements
• Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Wisconsin medical license required
• Comfortable with both medically directed and solo cases
