Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for a locums opportunity in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin! This position offers flexible weekly coverage, weekday shifts, and a diverse case mix in a community hospital and surgery center setting.

Opportunity Highlights:

Monday–Friday shifts

8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Weekday and weekend 24-hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM

First and second call coverage

Solo anesthesiologist coverage during call

Multiple weekly coverage blocks available

Open to splitting coverage between two providers

Community hospital and surgery center setting

Work independently or alongside CRNAs/CAAs

Anesthesia tech support available

No cardiac cases required for general locums coverage

Epic EMR

Willing to consider candidates needing Wisconsin licensure

Case Mix:

General surgery

Gynecology and OB

Vascular surgery

Urology

Neuro and spine

Orthopedics

Healthy pediatric ENT and dental cases

Electrophysiology

Gastrointestinal procedures

Epidurals, spinals, and regional anesthesia

Requirements:

Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Active Wisconsin medical license or willingness to obtain one

BLS and ACLS required

Comfortable providing independent anesthesia coverage during call

Experience with a broad range of general anesthesia cases

Ability to work collaboratively with CRNAs and CAAs

Annual influenza vaccination or approved exemption required
