PA/NP - Cardiovascular Surgery Needed in AR (will license)

Job description

Location: Fayetteville, AR

Start Date: Nov 4 (or as soon as credentialed)
Contract Length: 3 months (possibility to extend)
Shift Details: 7:15a-3:45pm
Schedule: Mon-Friday (Call is 1 every 3 weekdays, and 1 every 3 weekends)

Work Details:
· Amount of coverage needed per month: full time, but will consider part timers depending on availability
· Patients per day: 20-40 surgical cases per week
· Patient population/age: Adult population, >15yrs old
· Department description: Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, inpatient and outpatient (using Getinge vein harvesting system)
· EMR: Cerner and Cerner Ambulatory
· Hospital bed size: 425
· Special procedures: TAVR, robotic thoracic surgery, open cardiac/vascular/thoracic procedures
· Skills required: Surgical first assist and vein harvesting experience required.
· Skills preferred: Endovascular vein harvesting.

Practice Setting:
· Hospital and Clinic

Requirements:
· Board Certification: yes
· State license required: Will consider non-AR licensed if they can license by start date.
· DEA: Yes
· CSR: No
· Certifications required: CSFA at minimum or PA/APRN
· Minimum experience required: 1 year minimum.
· Case Log Requirements: **Must provide documentation of at least 50 patients (NO patient information) in the past 12 months to qualify fo the APRN/PA Surgery Core

Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ Days
