Locum | Physician | Cardiology | Cottonwood, AZ

Shift:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
1-hour unpaid lunch
No call
Ongoing coverage
Overtime applies after the scheduled shift

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults age 60+
Setting: Hospital/Clinic
Cardiovascular Institute
General Cardiology practice
Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities:
General Cardiology coverage
Clinic visits
Manage approximately 18–24 patients per day
Provide cardiology care for the adult patient population
Perform catheterization for the provider's own patients
Collaborate with physicians and clinical support staff

Required Procedures:
Cardiac catheterization for the provider's own patients
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff:
2 Physicians in the group
Medical Assistant
Patient Care Technician
Nurse
PA support for inpatient needs

Days Per Month: Ongoing coverage; full-time coverage preferred, with a minimum of 3 days/week accepted
On-Call/Weekends: No call; no weekend coverage specified

Requirements:
Board Certified in Cardiology
Active Arizona license or IMLC LOQ
ACLS and BLS
Minimum 2 years of experience
