Cardiologist Needed in Illinois | Flexible Scheduling | Ongoing

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Centralia, Illinois. This is a long-term need offering a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule with a combination of clinic, inpatient consults, and primarily phone-based call coverage.

- Opportunity Highlights
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off is the Preferred schedule - Open to a different schedule
Approximately 40 hours per week
Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
Call is primarily telephone coverage rather than in-house presence
Ongoing need anticipated for approximately 1 year
Adult patient population
Solo physician coverage
Epic EMR

- Clinical Responsibilities
General Cardiology
Management of CAD, hypertension, and heart failure patients
Inpatient consults
Read EKGs and echocardiograms
Supervise stress testing
Outpatient clinic coverage
Phone-based after-hours call

- Support
APP support 2 days per week
Medical Assistant
Solo MD coverage
