Location: A city in Minnesota, located in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. It's a small, suburban community known for its family-friendly atmosphere and local amenities. About ten miles to downtown Minneapolis! Facility: Hospital offering a broad range of medical services. Opportunity: Seeking a Locum/Locum to Perm Non-Invasive Cardiologist Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient, Call Dates of Coverage: As soon as credentialed Shift(s) Description: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Weekend Requirements: Weekends needed 24 hours On Call Requirements: Weeknight call 5PM-8AM Call Schedule: Q7 Call Ratio: Q7 Average Number of Clinic Patients Per Day: 12-14 Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: Not responsible for direct admissions, hospitalists will handle admissions, 5-10 consults per day Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1 Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group: 17 Will Other Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage? Yes Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers?: APPs will support rounding, and will need supervision; also supervise stress tests cardiac rehab as needed Patient Age Demographic: Adult Documentation System/EMR: Epic Prefers local candidates or physicians that are already licensed in MN. Credentialing timeframe: ~ 90-120 days Procedures Required: Echocardiography Transesophageal Echocardiography Electrical Cardioversions Electrocardiograms (EKGs) Treadmill Stress Tests Chemical Stress Tests Echocardiography Transesophageal Echocardiography Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
